Julia Rose, L.Ac
Since graduating from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2003, Julia has continued to hone her skills by learning from her patients and studying with master teachers in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Julia’s core philosophy is that our bodies are designed to sync with the rhythms of nature- we respond to the sun and the moon, the seasons, and gravity. When all is well, our bodies tick along in rhythmic bliss. But modern living severs our connection to nature, and our basic functions—sleep, digestion, mindset, and metabolism take a hit, and we experience dis-ease. Stress compounds the problem. Julia’s approach is multifold: mitigate the effects of stress, reestablish flow to restore healthy functions, and balance the internal forces of Yin and Yang- because a balanced body is most resilient to the effects of stress.
When not seeing patients in the clinic or studying East Asian medicine, Julia loves spending time in her garden and kitchen, and being the mom of four incredible kids- two human and two canine.Julia is a certified Kiiko Mastumoto Style practitioner, a student of Sa’am acupuncture, and a Classical Chinese herbalist.
